This policy explains what data BaiaKing collects, why, and what you can do about it. We only collect what the game needs to work and to stay fair.
1.What We Collect
- Account data: your email address and password (stored only as a hash, never in plain text).
- Sign in with Google: if you choose it, we receive your Google account's email address and identifier. We never receive your Google password.
- Game data: characters, progress, items, in-game chat and action logs.
- Technical data: IP address, access times and a device identifier, used to enforce the one-account-per-device limit and the anti-cheat.
2.How We Use It
We use your data only for the purposes below. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.
- To create and maintain your account and characters.
- To protect the game against cheating, fraud and abuse, and to investigate reports.
- To show public rankings with each character's name, vocation and level.
- To reply when you contact us.
3.Cookies
The website uses a single cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers the language you picked. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
4.Sharing
Your data stays on our servers and is only accessed by the staff when needed. We only share it when the law requires us to.
Discord and Google are third-party services with their own privacy policies.
5.How Long We Keep It
We keep account data for as long as the account exists. Technical and security logs are kept for as long as needed to protect the game, and then deleted.
6.Your Rights
Under the GDPR and Brazil's LGPD you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or to have your account deleted. Send your request to the staff on Discord; we may ask you to prove that you own the account.
7.Children
BaiaKing is not aimed at children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes a child has sent us data, contact us and we will remove it.
8.Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
